and saving schools money. A faithful advocate and supporter of the Mouse program; Thomas A. Edison Vocational High School has been a power house pumping out success and making the difference in students’ lives thanks to the Mouse program. Since the Spring of 2004 the Mouse Squad at Edison has been entrusted with coordinating the wiring and installation of technology at conference meetings, convention centers, competition events, in addition Mouse Squad members have also been involved in the stand against the injustice towards schools by participating in UFT rallies. All of this wouldn’t have been possible were it not for the dedication and tenacity of the Mouse Coordinators at Edison; Mr. Alex C. Bell, and Mr. Moses Ojeda. Together the dynamic duo have helped students become successful in the I.T industry by providing opportunities to students to become A+ Certified, and because of that track record Thomas A. Edison is the only Authorized Service Center via CompTIA in New York City! Held with such high regard, it is clear that CTE programs such as Mouse Squad, aimed at the future of students, works! At the end of the day the students learn essential skills, the teachers are smiling and feeling good and best of all, the schools’ reputation skyrockets with the community. And that ladies and gentleman, is the core of a successful educational institute.
